Raylux SCADA / HMI

Status — Pre-release

RLX-LN — Kiosk shell

For the panel that should only ever show the HMI.

Lens is a desktop shell that displays Spectrum full-screen. It is for the plant-floor panel PC that should come up in the HMI and stay there — no desktop, no browser chrome, no way to wander off.

How it works

A panel, not a PC

On a plant floor the machine is part of the equipment, and it should behave like it. Lens brings the panel up in the HMI, full-screen, with no desktop behind it and no browser furniture around it.

Same runtime, different frame

Lens displays Spectrum — the same screens an operator would see in a browser. There is no second HMI to build or keep in step; the panel and the desk show the same thing.

Installed where it is needed

Lens ships as its own setup program and installs per user, on the panels that need it. The gateway installer will not drag it onto a server that is never going to display anything.

Lens

A Lens screenshot is still outstanding. It renders the same Spectrum screens as Fig. 1 on the Spectrum page, full-screen and without browser chrome.
